The ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic has caused all of us to make changes to how we conduct ourselves in daily life. We have made many prudent changes to our procedures, school facilities and schedules, which have helped to create a safer, more nurturing and enjoyable environment for the students and staff. Although the majority of our students attend school in-person each day, some families have opted for their children to “Learn from Home”. These children receive live-streaming of their academic classes throughout the week. Opportunities for these students to connect with their teachers and classmates have also been made to help build rapport and ensure curriculum expectations are being met. As schools across the province begin the return to “the way it was”, new information will be shared and changes will be put into place upon our return from March Break. These changes will align with the latest government of Ontario updates.
Turnbull School has made many adjustments to help combat COVID-19 over the past two years. We continue to take a cautious approach, with the goal of bringing back more activities and events during the last quarter of this school year. We continue to seek guidance and support from Ottawa Public Health and the government of Ontario for the most up to date COVID-19 safety requirements and protocols.
