About the Houses
Turnbull School’s House System gives students and staff a sense of belonging and identity while encouraging school pride. Each student is assigned to a House that spans from Kindergarten to Grade 8, providing opportunities to collaborate with peers across all ages. Throughout the year, students participate in a variety of fun and engaging activities from dress-up days and STEM challenges to art competitions and Kindness Week events. Points are earned for participation, teamwork, and creativity, and the House with the most points in June is awarded the coveted Golden Egg. Beyond friendly competition, the House System helps students develop collaboration, leadership, and a lifelong appreciation for community.
