Field Trips
at Turnbull

Exploring the world beyond the classroom to bring learning to life.

About our fields trips

At Turnbull School, learning does not stop at the classroom door. Field trips give students the chance to explore new places, experience different perspectives, and connect what they’re learning to the world around them.

Whether visiting cultural sites, exploring nature, or taking part in hands-on workshops, these experiences help bring lessons to life. Field trips provide students meaningful opportunities to learn together outside the classroom.

What students will learn

Through field trips, students will:

  • Apply classroom knowledge in practical, memorable ways.
  • Make real-world connections to classroom learning.
  • Deepen their understanding of their community and the world.
  • Foster curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Build independence and confidence in new environments.
  • Create lasting experiences that support lifelong growth.
