Physical education
program

Helping students build strength, coordination, and habits that support health and well-being.

About the program

Physical education is programmed into the students’ schedule every day, and is taught by professionally trained and qualified physical education teachers. Through daily activity and guided instruction, the program focuses on a variety of sports and physical activities at both the individual and team level, where students develop skills, fitness, and healthy habits while learning teamwork, good sportsmanship, and the joy of being active.

What students will learn

Primary (Kindergarten – Grade 3)

Students develop basic movement skills, coordination, and confidence in physical activity. They learn to participate cooperatively in group games, follow rules, and enjoy being active.

Junior (Grades 4 – 6)

Students refine fundamental sport skills, improve fitness and endurance, and explore teamwork and strategy in both individual and team activities. They also learn the importance of fair play and supporting peers.

Senior (Grades 7 – 8)

Students advance their technical abilities, take on leadership roles, and apply strategic thinking in competitive settings. They develop a deeper understanding of healthy lifestyle choices and the value of regular physical activity.
